Having decided to cut the text right back, I was able to concentrate on the images and set out the pages in eight pairs so I knew which images would fall next to one another. It's been a long process to think it through and I am not sure about a couple. I am sure it will become clear as I work it through by drawing it out again and again. As it stands today, these are the thumbnails, followed by some of the individual pages which I have started to look at.
I also popped along to Bailey Paints in Stroud and came away with a book of sample satin wallpaper colours, which are almost fabric in texture so I can experiment with. It may be too thick to sew through, but it is worth a try.
